There are two minutes to match the first tire position, and five minutes overall to match all four tire positions. If it takes longer, the matching process stops and must be restarted.
Relearn Procedure:
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn ignition to ON position (engine off) .
3. Press the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter's LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time until horn sounds.
If your vehicle does not have RKE, press the Driver Information Center (DIC) vehicle information button until the PRESS V TO RELEARN TIRE POSITIONS message displays, press V button to confirm.
If your vehicle does not have RKE or DIC buttons, press the trip odometer reset stem located on the instrument panel cluster until the RELEARN TIRE POSITIONS message displays press reset to confirm.
The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode and TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message displays on the DIC screen.
4. Starting with LF tire, use a TPMS activation tool, or rapidly increase/decrease the pressure to activate the sensor until horn sounds.
5. Repeat step 4 for remaining tires in the following order: RF RR and LR.
6. After completing LR tire, horn will sound twice to signal the sensor matching process has completed.
7. Turn ignition to OFF position to exit vehicle learn mode. Adjust all tires to pressure listed on tire placard.
